Just wanted to take a moment and share a few of my favorite details from Stephanie and Joseph’s wedding day. Stephanie wanted all the details have a touch of fun and girly-ness in them. I think she accomplished just that! Take a look.

Meet Torrie and Josh! I met Josh a couple of years ago when I shot his sister Brandi’s wedding. And even though I was already booked for their wedding, I was so thrilled that they still wanted me to shoot their engagement session. Torrie and Josh met when she took a physics class he was teaching at UALR. They exchanged glances now and again when eventually, Torrie being the fun outgoing person she is, decided to email Josh and so their story began. It’s so new age isn’t it?! I love it. These two are ridiculously perfect for each other. They are just one of those couple’s that can barely keep their eyes off of one another and yet bring out the best and if I might add, the super silly side of each other as well. Take a peek at some of what we captured on their engagement session.

There were a lot of sweet kissing moments on the session… And tons of laughing. Here’s a little bit of that crazy side I was talking about. I had the idea of shooting on the Main St. Bridge and I’m so glad they were down for it because I love these shots!

Remember Stephanie’s super fun engagement session and gorgeous bridals? Well now it’s time to start blogging her and Joseph’s wedding! I had such a great time sharing this special day with the Shepherd and Poverelli families. These two love birds tied the knot in the historical district in Pine Bluff, AR. Not only did they want to incorporate Stephanie’s hometown into the photos but they rented a trolley for us to get around to do so. Fun times! Everyone involved was incredibly sweet and they sure were such a fun bunch to spend the day with! I’m going to kick off this wedding by sharing some fun portraits and the ceremony. I hope you all enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed being able to capture it all.

I love all the canvas that Stephanie ordered of her bridals!One of my favorites from the day. Tanarah did such an amazing job creating a unique bouquet for every bridesmaid. Love this idea. There’s that signature Stephanie pose again The guys had to get in on the fun action too. I love this image with the cross especially because they based the foundation of their marriage in God.
It’s like they can’t get close enough, so sweet.

Allison & Brandon’s Little Rock Engagement Session

It’s not very often that I go to a client meeting and it doesn’t last for at least an hour and a half. Mostly due to the fact that I am a huge chatterbox and once I get someone talking it’s sometimes hard for us to quit haha. However, when I met with Allison and Brandon we had a quick chat about their wedding and then she asked me a question no other bride had before. ‘What kind of camera do you use?’ That made Nancy and I perk up a little for several reasons. One, I do think it is important for brides to make sure their photographers are properly equipped. But as I found out, Allison and Brandon are both film makers! So of course they wanted to know what is in my camera bag. We instantly bonded over how much we had in common and within 15 minutes (at the most) the meeting was over. Shocking! I’m so glad that we met with them and are able to share this special time in their lives. They are getting married in May at the Terry House in Little Rock which is where we decided to start off their engagement session. Check it out!
